Did you know....
• You can easily add interests that you like from another users interest list now? Simply look at a person's user info, find the Interests, and click on the last bit that says [Modify yours]. That brings you to a page where you can check off the interests that someone else has to add to your own list of interests.
• If you are a paid member, you can make phone posts! 15 free a month. It's kind of neat. Here's the hard to find link telling you how to do it.
• If you click on the user picture on a persons's info. page, it will show you all of the user pics they have uploaded?
• Once you get a lot of friends, friends filters may become useful to you. If you make a friend group called "Default View", only the people in it will show up on your friends list by default. Note that your default view is only visible to you, not other people. Other people looking at your friends page will see everybody.
• If you are seeking interesting people to read, you can use the friends of friends page, to read guess who's journals. http://www.livejournal.com/users/(username)/friendsfriends (paid account feature, come on spring for it! :)
• You can mark any LiveJournal entry as a memory, not just one you have posted to your own journal. You can also define entries posted in communities, or by other users in their own journals, as memorable. See the FAQ entry on memories for more details.
• Use a LJ client? I find mine (semagic) very much preferable to using the web interface to post. The page to download them is here.
• If you are interested in meeting other LJ-ers in your vicinity, there's a resource for it. Check out Livejournal Meetup. It happens monthly, in cities all over the world.
