Computer Design Modifications for Cats

There seem to be more and more cats with web pages, their own email accounts, on-line clubs and even cat chats. it is little wonder we are attracted to this medium of communication, it requires little exercise, and one does not need an exceptionally long attention span. With the ranks "On-line Felines" growing, I have proposed these modifications to the computer industry for our comfort.

Desktop computers are adequate, although I think laptop versions have a high appeal as well.

The keyboard is ergonomically designed for easy pawing with wide set keys. the function keys have been replaced by a row of 12 keys with the most commonly used words in cat vocabulary:

eat food treat
sleep nap purr
disdain contempt	play
me mine catnip

The [alt] key had been replaced with [shed] and the key formerly known as [shift] is now [stretch]. The [control] key remains unchanged.

The human adaptation, the "wrist rest" has been replaced with a "whole body rest" to allow for urgent napping needs to be met while on-line.

The mouse squeals when manipulated, and occasionally attempts to flee.

The unit comes with 3 screen-saver options which activate when the computer is not in use, scampering mice, flying birds and dancing Pounce® treats.

The default beep has been altered to emit a pleasant sound like that of an electric can-opener.
